Clients learn about the disease of addiction and about their own
unique problems including their family and relationship roles. We
believe successful treatment must include therapy for the family
and significant others, as well as continuing care, post treatment
referrals, and follow-up. Rocky Mountain Treatment Center provides
treatment for secondary emotional problems such as depression in
the dual diagnosis service track. Traditional Native American treatment
activities have been integrated into the treatment program, as well.
We use the 12-step program as the basis for long term recovery,
and our patients are introduced to the concept and lifestyle soon
after admission.

Our goal at Rocky Mountain Treatment Center is to provide
the most complete care possible, with each client's treatment
plan being seen as a dynamic process which is reviewed daily
by the members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
Continued stay reviews are part of this process, as is discharge
planning and appropriate referrals. Family members, significant
others, legal guardians, probation officers, and others
who play an important role in each patient's life, may be
invited to attend staff planning disscussions regarding
each client's history and are encouraged to contribute their
own observations of the client's behavior in developing
a treatment plan which will ultimately result in the most
positive and beneficial lifestyle adjustments.

Although spirituality is encouraged during our program,
endorsement of any particular faith is
not. For those seeking closeness to a higher
power of their choice, we are fortunate to
have our own small chapel where patients
find comfort in sorting out some of their moments
of uncertainty or search for guidance as
they change their lives

One family recently wrote about the treatment
provided by RMTC:
"There is no way we can thank the incredibly caring and loving
staff at Rocky Mountain for the way they helped bring our family
back to happiness." Jeff and Family
